Three for the Money (not to be confused with the later 3 for the Money) was an early radio quiz show.

Three contestants went through a process of elimination, and the winner tried to predict audience reaction to a series of tunes. If his/her predictions were correct, he/she won $300, and a chance to win another $500 by predicting a second bracket of three tunes. If the contestant succeeded again, he/she would attempt to predict a third grouping for a total of $5,000.
