The Honeymoon Race was the short lived spin-off/replacement of/for Supermarket Sweep where married couples race around a shopping mall.
Three married couples currently on their honeymoon riding in their electric golf carts (with the wives driving) in a Hollywood shopping mall in Hollywood, Florida, played games for big prizes. The show went through to formats in its five-month run.
In the first version, the three couple compete in a scavenger hunt in the mall. To start, they played a pricing game where they must guess the prices of four items in ascending order. Using the time earned, the couples searched around the mall for five hidden items in five stores. The couple who has found the most out of five won prizes.
Two games with two different sets of couples were played each show.
This version was more of a stunt show, for the three couples rode around the mall right away and played five stunts or running five errands performed by the husbands in different stores. The couple to finish first were the winners. The couples received prizes based on the order that they finished.

- The Honeymoon Race was originally going to end in October 1967, with Temptation replacing it. However, a NABET strike resulted in the latter being postponed to December 4, leading ABC to air repeats of Race in the slot.
