Summer Elisabeth Sanders (born October 13, 1972) is an American professional swimmer, sports commentator and reporter, TV show host and actress. She won an Olympic gold medal for her sport of swimming.

Summer is best known in the TV world for her work as the host of Nickelodeon's Figure it Out; prior to this, in 1994, she hosted Sandblast for MTV. She hosted & co-hosted many other shows all focusing on sports. She was even a commentator & sideline reporter for many sports events including the WNBA. She also co-hosted NBA Inside Stuff with Ahmad Rashad. Sanders was also the studio commissioner for the channel Nick GAS

She was on the third season of Celebrity Apprentice, along with Darryl Strawberry, Cyndi Lauper, Bret Michaels, Sharon Osbourne, Michael Johnson, Holly Robinson Peete, Bill Goldberg, Carol Leifer, Sinbad, Rod Blagojevich, Maria Kanellis, Curtis Stone and Selita Ebanks, who all competed for charity. She was the 8th one fired. Donald Trump said the reason Sanders was fired was because she did not do a decent job defending herself when in the final two. Sanders also hosted Skating With the Celebrities with Scott Hamilton

Summer is currently married to former World Cup skier Erik Schlopy; prior to this, she was married to another professional swimmer Mark Thompson. Summer & Erik have two children between them born almost two years apart.

In 2015, Sanders became the host of a new game show called Keywords. However, it was short-lived.
