Pressure 1 was a short-lived, spin-off from Peer Pressure. The show from which it spun off was renamed Pressure 2 in season 3 to coincide with it. It also replaced the now cancelled Click.

Gameplay

Unlike Peer Pressure, this show was based on general trivia and there was no giant game board to move around on.

Round 1 (Four's a Crowd)

Four contestants competed in buzzing in and answering questions. The first three contestants to answer two questions correctly moves on to the next round. The other contestant is eliminated.

Round 2 (Take That!)

This round begins with the first place finisher in the previous round choosing one of two categories. That player will answer a question from the category he/she chose, and the other two players will buzz in to answer a question from the remaining category. Whoever answers a question correctly gets to choose from two categories, leaving the remaining category for the other two players. The round is played this way until time expires. Each correct answer is worth 10 points, and the player with the lowest score at the end of this round is eliminated.

Round 3 (Pressure Cooker)

The remaining two players face off in a "lightning round" in which they are both asked five questions in 60 seconds. Both players are asked the same questions, with the player going second sequestered in an isolation booth to prevent hearing the questions and answers. The player who answered all the questions correctly in the fastest time or gave the most correct answers wins the game and a prize package.
