Paramount Television replaced Desilu since 1968 and was renamed CBS Paramount Television from 2006 to 2007. Today it is known as CBS Television Studios on network television and CBS Television Distribution in syndication. Most of this time was as the television arm of the Paramount Pictures film studio. There were some nickname logos of the Rising Circle from early 1968, the Closet Killer from 1969 to 1974, the Blue Mountain from 1975 to 1986, the CGI Mountain from 1987 to 2002 and the 2nd CGI Mountain from 2002 to 2006. Paramount Television used 3 bylines. The 1st one was a Gulf+Western Company from 1967 to 1989. The 2nd one was a Paramount Communications Company from 1989 to 1994. The 3rd one is a Viacom Company.
On March 4, 2013, the television branch of Paramount Pictures was revived but under the new Viacom name.
