Leeza ran from 1993-2000. After the cancellation of her talk show, she spent three years hosting a rival entertainment news show Extra, replacing previous host Maureen O'Boyle of A Current Affair. More TV hosting jobs followed as years went on, including her brief stint as host of Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, temporarily replacing Meredith Vieira. In 2007, Leeza was chosen as one of the celebrity participants on Dancing with the Stars, partnered with Tony Dovolani; she was the third star to be eliminated. Shandi Finnessey also participated and was eliminated that season. The winners of that season were Apolo Anton Ohno & Julianne Hough.
While doing her talk show, Leeza was nominated 10 times for an Emmy award but never won. But last year in 2013, her losing streak finally came to an end when she finally won a well-deserved Emmy award for her work on the PBS Lifestyle/Travel program My Generation.
Leeza is married four times and produced four children (three boys & one girl) within those marriages. Her current husband is to Steven Fenton.
