Kellie Noelle Martin (born October 16, 1975) is an American television actress.

Career[]

Kellie Martin was born in Riverside, California to Debbie & Doug Martin. At the age of seven, her aunt (a nanny for Michael Landon) got her interested in acting having casted her in an episode of Michael's early 80s series Father Murphy. Kellie worked with Michael again in his later & best known 80s series Highway to Heaven.

In 1986 at the age of 11, Kellie was a contestant during Young People's Week on Card Sharks. Around a year later, Kellie went back to acting and became a semi-regular during the third season of The Hogan Family (aka Valerie & Valerie's Family).

Then in 1988, Kellie got the job of voicing young Daphne Blake in A Pup Named Scooby-Doo. She held that role until 1991. While voicing Daphne in 1989, Kelli got the job that really got her noticed; it was the job of playing Rebecca "Becca" Thatcher in Life Goes On. At the same time, Kellie played Emily in the film Troop Beverly Hills with Shelley Long.

In 1994, around a year after Life Goes On was cancelled, Kellie won her first lead role as fictional Appalachia woman Christy Huddleston in Christy alongside former Cagney & Lacey star Tyne Daly.

Over the years, Kellie continued to do TV shows, movies and cartoon voiceovers. Then from 2003 to 2006, Kellie starred in a series of mystery TV movies for the Hallmark Channel called Mystery Woman where she played a women who inherited a mystery bookstore and used her knowledge of mystery novels to solve mysteries.

Kellie Martin is currently married to Keith Christian. Together they have one daughter.
