Jennifer is a multi-talented entertainer who first gained national attention as one of the Fly Girls during the third & fourth seasons of FOX's In Living Color. After leaving the group in 1993, Jennifer went into acting, even though she had a prior acting experience in a low budget film called My Little Girl. In 1997, she landed her first lead role in Selena, to which she starred alongside Miami Vice star Edward James Olmos and future George Lopez star Constance Marie. But it wasn't until 1999 when she began her singing career. Her first hit single was If You Had My Love and her first hit album was On the 6. Later in 2001, she began to work behind the cameras as a producer for movies & TV shows by creating her own production company called Nuyorican Productions, with her first official producing job on the short lived drama South Beach.

Today she is considered to be one of the world's greatest entertainers and one of the hardest working females in the business.
