Lara Spencer (born Lara Christine Von Seelen on June 19, 1969) is a TV personality & journalist who has a thing for junk.

She's currently the host & lifestyle anchor for Good Morning America. She is also a correspondent for Nightline and ABC News. Previously, she was the host of the syndicated television newsmagazine The Insider and was a regular contributor to CBS's The Early Show. Previous to this, she was the National Correspondent for Good Morning America and spent several years as a features and lifestyle reporter for WABC-TV.

During the summer of 2012, Lara hosted a special limited afternoon special edition of Good Morning America called Good Afternoon America alongside then-fellow GMA anchor Josh Elliott.

In addition to entertainment & lifestyle news, Lara also hosted Antiques Roadshow on PBS for the 2004 and 2005 seasons (a show also hosted by Mark L. Walberg), as well as Antiques Roadshow FYI and also for one season had a weekly segment on Rachael Ray titled "The Dish".

Lara is also the author of her own book called I Brake for Yard Sales which was parlayed into a one hour special for HGTV.

Lara even found time to create a game show based on her love of junk called It's Worth What? hosted by Cedric the Entertainer. The show aired during the summer of 2011.

Today in addition to doing Good Morning America, she now hosts on show on HGTV called Flea Market Flip.

In 2016, Lara went public on something that's been plaguing her for months. She revealed that she had suffered from hip dysplasia, a sickness that messes up the cartilage. So she decided to have her entire right hip (which was where the sickness took place) replaced over the August weekend. Her surgery was successful, but she did not return to work until the end of August.

Her newest producing job is sort of a spin-off of Flea Market Flip called Farmers' Market Flip.
