Board Games

Milton Bradley (1977-1985)

Board games based on the 1976 version were released from 1977 to 1985 by Milton Bradley in eight editions.

Pressman (1990,1993)

Board games based on the 1988 version were released in 1990 and 1993 as "The New Family Feud" featuring the exciting "Bullseye" round by Pressman in two editions. (NOTE: Prior to the original 90s Pressman version, a very similar looking board game was released first in Australia by Croner in 1989 during the Seven Network era that was hosted by Rob Brough from 1989 to 1995, and "way, way, WAY!" much more prior to that, a similar looking 1990/1989 Pressman/Croner like board game "minus the survey board design and a strange brick wall pattern that replaces the stairs artwork" based on the French-Canadian version called La Guerre des clans ("The Feud/War of The Clans") was released by Playtoy Industries in 1993, during the TQS (now V) era that was hosted by Luc Senay from 1992 to 1997.)

Endless Games (1998-)

Endless Games have released five editions of Family Feud since 1998.

Including a Quick Picks game with and without former host John O'Hurley on the cover in 2010...

Cardinal (2015)

As part of The Game Box ^[1]For this version, one person plays the role of the host, while the other players are the teams and compete to give the most popular answer to a variety of survey questions to win.

Party Edition

Endless Games (2015)

Released exclusively at Kohl's stores nationwide called Family Feud: Party Edition featuring current host Steve Harvey on the cover of the tin box. This version contains a survey question booklet, wipe-off answer board, a marker and scoreboard.

Video Games

The Great Game Company (1983)

Plans for the Atari 2600 and Mattel's Intellivision video game based on the 1976 version was going to be released by The Great Game Company in 1983, but due to the crash at the time it was never made.

Sharedata (1987,1989)

A Commodore 64 and Apple II game was released by Sharedata in the 80's; however, the picture on the box showed the Dawson set (with the Dagucon and O'Briant family nameplates; whether such an actual episode occurred is unknown). A PC game also released by Sharedata in the 80's was based on the 1988 version and had a photo of the Combs set.

Action Graphics/Coleco (1984)

A Coleco ADAM game based on the 1976 version was developed by Action Graphics and released by Coleco in 1984.

GameTek (1990,1993-1994)

A NES game based on the 1988 version was released by GameTek in 1990. However, in the game its set mostly resembles the 1976 version. games were even released for the SNES, 3DO, Genesis and PC from 1993 to 1994 and unlike the NES version, these versions included the "Bullseye" round where it plays very similar to the 1992-94 syndicated era. (NOTE: if the player doesn't want to play the "Bullseye" round from the start menu of the game, they can still play for $5,000 in Fast Money).

Hasbro Interactive (2000)

Games based on the 1999 version were released for the PS1 and PC by Hasbro Interactive in 2000. Both versions featured Louie Anderson as your host. (NOTE: While the PC version has the actual sound effects from the show (ex: Face-Off, Survey Reveal bell, strikes, Fast Money reveal answer blip) the PS1 version does not.)

Games for the PS2, PC and Game Boy Advance were released in 2006 by Global Star Software. Both The PS2 and PC versions start out with a set from the 2005 Karn era along with four unlockable sets from 1976, 1988, 1994 & 1999, while the GBA version only has a set from the 2002 Karn era. (NOTE: This game came out before John O'Hurley was announced as the new host of Feud. Also, the voice for the unknown host was Todd Newton of Whammy! fame and the PC version was re-released by 2K Play in 2008 due to the "bugs" in the original version by Global Star Software.)

Ludia (2009-)

Games for the Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, PC, iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and PlayStation 3's PSN as Family Feud:2010 Edition were released from 2009-2010.(NOTE: the 2010 Edition video game was also re-released as one of the "Game Show Party" bundle packs along with The Price Is Right:2010 Edition and Press Your Luck:2010 Edition for the PlayStation 3's PSN in 2010) Games for the Nintendo Wii, PC, iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and PlayStation 3's PSN as Family Feud Decades were released from 2010-2011, featuring sets from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s eras, except the 1994-1995 era. Games only for the Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360 as Family Feud: 2012 Edition, where its set was a mashed-up hybrid between Harvey and O'Hurley eras with the ability to enroll your system's avatars as players and featuring video clips only from the Harvey era of the show were released in 2011. Games released for the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch & Android as Family Feud & Friends, where you play against people from Facebook, were released from 2011-2012. All of these versions were hosted by Terry McGovern. (NOTE: Both the 2010 Edition and Decades versions had only four team members (reminiscent to the 1994-95 Dawson (2.0) era) instead of five, while the 2012 Edition was the only version to incorporate the five team members just like the Dawson (1976-1985 era), Combs, Anderson, Karn, Roker, O'Hurley, and Harvey versions itself. Also, the 2010 Edition and Decades versions didn't have a host, while the 2012 Edition did who's name is Sparky Whitmore (voiced by Mcgovern). In 2014, they released Family Feud & Friends 2! for Android, Facebook and ios devices featuring new stunning graphics, complete new set of surveys, new power-ups to boost your chances for scoring more points, The ability to directly challenge your friends and family or anyone from the larger Family Feud & Friends Community, an all-new tournament mode where you can play live against seven players in order to become the world champion while winning tons of coins and enhanced predictive text input and auto-spell checker to make typing answers faster than ever.

Electronic Games

Tiger Electronics (1997-1998,1999)

Handheld Games based on the Dawson/Combs and Louie Anderson eras were released by Tiger Electronics in 1997 and 1999. Travel Games based on the Dawson/Combs era were released by Tiger Electronics in 1997 in three editions.

In addition, for the latter version, Louie Anderson would sometimes plug the handheld game on the show before the start of round 4 (a.k.a the one-strike Triple Round).

Prior to the orginal 1997 unit, it was re-released again in 1998, which included an extra cartridge.

Jakks Pacific (2006)

A source from IndianTelevision.com said that Jakks Pacific planned a "Plug-n-Play" unit in the works along with The Price is Right (which was released in 2009) but unlike TPIR it has never been made nor released.

Irwin Toys (2007)

A Tabletop and Handheld game based on the O'Hurley version were released by Irwin Toys in 2007.

Family Feud Uproar.com plug 2, 2000

A single-player online game based on the 1999 version was released by the now defunct website Uproar.com in 1999, and included the "Double" round which was not used until Season 5 premiered in the Fall of 2003. Prior to this, there was a chance to "let your voice be heard" by filling out online surveys just by selecting the most popular answer from the "drop down" list provided. when your done, then you would click on the "SUBMIT" button at the bottom of your vote would be in the actual game. plus you would get 50 iCoins just for taking part in the community.

Iwin (2005-2009,2010)

Since 2005, iwin.com was released eight downloadable editions of the show including: Family Feud II, Holiday Edition, Hollywood Edition, Dream Home, Online Party, Double Play (a re-collection of Family Feud & Family Feud II) and Battle of the Sexes. A Facebook game was also released by the same company in 2010 and has been upgraded since 2011.

GSN (????)

GSN, the network that airs numerous versions of Feud had their short-lived interactive online game where you can play along with the show for a brief period. Prior to this you can play along with the show on your mobile phone with Goldpocket iTV.

Worldwinner (2007, 2010)

2007 Version

Worldwinner.com made an online cash game for gsn.com based on the 2006 version on Octobe 1, 2007.where you can compete for cash. The original version's main game played very similar to Wheel of Fortune's Toss-Up round, where you have to guess four word answers before getting the familiar three strikes; also in the main game, there's a “Reveal Letter” button helping you to figure out the solution. A “Pass” button making you allowed to come back to a word if your stuck and the “Solve” button to type the correct solution if you already know the answer. The bonus round's original game is where you have to select the most popular answer to a question for extra points.

2010 Version

Slot Machine Games

Silicon Gaming (2000)

A slot machine game based on the 1999 version was released by Silicon Gaming at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas of 2000, for which they once had a room designed around the game,complete with a rotating stage, large overhead screens and a statue of Louie Anderson. Only a year later after his departure from the show in 2002, MGM Grand scrapped that special area.^[2]^[3]^[4]^[5]^[6]^[7]^[8]^[9]^[10]

IGT/International Game Technology (2002-2004)

In 2002, IGT (International Game Technology) tried their hand at making a video slot machine based on the original 1976 version with Richard Dawson on the cover in five editions, but the declining popularity of the brand translated to fewer orders for its spin-off games. among the five editions included: Fast Money (2002), Face-Off (2002), Bullseye (2003), Triple Round (2003) and Challenge (2004).

AGS/American Gaming Systems (2014)

On October 2, 2012, AGS (American Gaming Systems)^[11]did a licensing agreement with Fremantle to do a brand new slot machine version based on the show in the future. according to Global Gaming Business it was reveal at G2E 2013 as part of their "It Pays to Know" series of slot machine games, along with Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? and Ripley's Believe it or Not. Two year later, the new slot machine was finally released in 2014, although its logo is based on the 2007-10 O'Hurley version, the machine itself is based somewhat on the current Harvey-era of the franchise. The machine is an extra-tall AGS Skytower cabinet with game features played out on a 42-inch vertical top-box LCD monitor. The base game is a five-reel, four spaces per reel "Ways to Win" game with wins triggered by adjacent symbols on the screen rather than paylines. In this case, the four-by-five configuration results in 1,024 possible winning combinations on every spin. There is a minimum bet of 50 credits. There is a five-level progressive jackpot triggered by four to eight jackpot symbols respectively scattered on the reels. The top jackpot resets at $5,000. Four or more game title symbols scattered on the reels trigger the bonus which can be one of three events where the player is prompted to touch one of the symbols to reveal either the Fast Money, Survey Says and For the Win bonus events.^[12]^[13]^[14]

Fast Money - Five questions are provided, each displaying six possible answers. The player selects an answer, aiming for the most popular answer. Credit awards are associated with each awarded that was included in the audience survey.

Survey Says - There are several answers among the choices that were not included in the survey which as on the show, triggers a red "X" symbol. Similarly to the actual show, the object of the game is to answer all the questions correctly before revealing three "X" symbols which ends the bonus.

For the Win - A free-spin event with spins taking place on a bonus set of reels in the top box.

After each bonus is complete, a bonus multiplier is applied to the credits based on how many triggered symbols enacted the bonus.

Mobile Games

Mobliss (2003-2007)

In 2003, Mobliss (Seattle-based mobile gaming company) released a mobile version of Family Feud^[15]that was available on Sprint, Verizon and Cingular phones.

Prior to this, they've also released a "2.0"^[16] edition in 2004...

...and a "Deluxe"^[17]edition in 2007.

Glu Mobile (2008)

In 2008, Glu Mobile released a newer version for other carries^[18]. It featured John O'Hurley on its cover of the game.

Family Feud's Fast Cash

During O'Hurley's tenure in 2006, their was a chance for home viewers of the show to win $5,000 in cash via text message.

Mobile Video app

On October 2, 2013, FremantleMedia teamed up with Beachfront Media to release a Mobile Video app for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Android devices, where it allowed fans of the series to search and view their favorite content from past episodes all in one place. Such content can be viewed in categories including: Greatest Hits, Audition Videos and Most Interesting Answers. Users can also save their favorite clips and then share them socially with their friends.

For iOS useres, The Family Feud app is available for free from the app store at www.AppStore.com, as for "Droid" users they can download the app at "Google Play".

A paperback book based on the 1976 version called Richard Dawson and Family Feud was published by Signet in 1981.

Papp Puzzles (2013)

In 2013, a company called Papp Puzzles, released a series a word search puzzle books called Family Feud Word Hunt Twice the Fun 2 Games in 1. And so far, four volumes have been released, all of which features current host Steve Harvey on the cover.
