Anson Williams (born Anson William Heimlich on September 25, 1949) is an American actor, director and singer, best known for his role as Warren "Potsie" Weber on the 70s & 80s television sitcom Happy Days.

Anson first played Potsie in 1972 during a segment of the comedy-anthology series Love, American Style, which was titled "Love and the Happy Days" although it started out as a failed TV pilot called New Family in Town. This segment also premiered other characters (mainly the Cunningham family) that would be carried over into the Happy Days series. (Ron Howard & Marion Ross were the only actors to play the characters they would play in the series. The other two family members were played by two different actors.) When Happy Days finally became a series in 1974, Anson, Ron & Marion stayed on, the father and daughter were now played by two new actors (Tom Bosley & Erin Moran) and two new characters (Fonzie (Henry Winkler) & Ralph Malph (Don Most)) were introduced. Anson even got to show off his singing chops while doing the show.

When Happy Days ended in 1984, Anson turned his attention to directing. He directed numerous episodes of TV shows such as seaQuest DSV, Melrose Place, 7th Heaven and Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
